Frequently Asked Questions
1Drone Does Not Arm
Complete Accel Calibration and Magnetic Calibration. The indications should become Red colour. Hold the throttle stick diagonally bottom right
2Drone Arming but not taking off
Restart the drone. Check the propellers direction. Refer user manual.
3Drone Does Not gain altitude beyond 3 meters
Sately Altitude is provided. Leave the throttle stick and again increase the throttle to gain altitude.
4After Calibration drone does not arm
Place the drone on a flat surface ground. There is a safety angle interlock of 15 Degrees
5Do's
1. Initially place the RPA in forward facing position in the direction of pilot view
(Battery door view is in visual sight: refer deployment flyer manual)
2. Fly the RPA, if you are well trained to control the RPA & its behavior
3. Always have a pilot and co-pilot contribution in entire flight
4. Always place the ground telemetry unit antennas well tightened and keep perpendicular to each other
5. Mount the ground telemetry unit in a same position without any disturbance throughout the entire flight condition
6. Ensure the GCS system is powered up throughout the flight mission without disconnection
7. Ensure the flight mode and its operational performance
8. Ensure the tightness of each locknut before flight
9. Ensure the propeller orientation & direction of mounting placements (refer deployment flyer manual)
10. Insert the battery XT60 connector properly while powerup the RPA
11. Ensure the battery slider door is closed properly before flight
12. Keep the RPA in flat surface, before giving calibration command
13. Keep the RPA in same flat surface, after calibration
14. Fly the drone in visual line of sight
15. Keep the safety distance of 3m in-between Pilot & RPA
16. Ensure the motors is hand free rotation before arming the RPA
17. Ensure the weather condition & wind condition is suitable for flying
18. Ensure the battery voltage level is range between 24Volt – 25.2Volt
19. When the RTH mode triggered (Low battery indication occurs in GCS) land the RPA immediately
20. Use deployment flyer for fixing propeller with locknut in the motor.
21. Only fly during daytime hours (after sunrise to before sunset)
22. Fly in favorable weather: good weather allows one to not only fly your RPA more efficiently but also to maintain track of it while it is in the air.
23. Ensure no airports and heliports are nearby your flying area at all costs.
24. People’s privacy must be respected.
25. Adhere to the flying guidelines.
26. Ensure the safety precautions before, while and after flight
27. Fly the RPA is in open area & safe to operate
6Dont's
1. Don’t peel/remove the warranty void label in RPA & ground telemetry unit
2. Without prior knowledge don’t fly the RPA & don’t operate & handle the RPA & its accessories
3. Don’t fly the RPA without permission and in public place
4. Don’t change the flight mode while flying the RPA
5. Don’t disconnect the Ground RFD cable from GCS & while RPA is inflight
6. Don’t remove any antennas in both RPA & ground telemetry unit before powering up, during and after fight
7. Don’t connect the ground telemetry unit from the GCS without mounting both antennas
8. Don’t disassemble the ground telemetry unit at any moment
9. Don’t give calibration command while in hand as well as inflight condition
10. Don’t use the less powered battery for flight RPA & transmitter
11. Don’t fly the RPA, beyond visual line of sight
12. Don’t disconnect the GCS while flying RPA
13. Don’t give any command in GCS while flying the RPA
14. Don’t disassemble the RPA. If any damages occurred while handling RPA, immediately contact authorized support.
15. Don’t use damaged propellers for flying RPA
16. Don’t fly the RPA with Transmitter battery power is less
17. Don’t change the propeller orientation, this leads to immediate crash.
18. Never fly a Micro RPA higher than 200 feet (60 meters) off the ground.
19. Keep RPA at a distance of no more than 400 feet (120 meters) from the ground.
20. Avoid flying RPA close to airports and heliports.
21. Do not fly RPA over crowds of people, public events, or crowded stadiums without prior permission.
22. To not fly RPA over or near any no-RPA zones or government facilities/military bases.
23. Do not fly the RPA over private property without permission.
24. Do not fly RPA in controlled airspace near airports without a flight plan or clearance from the AAI/ADC (at least 24 hours before actual operation).
25. Do not drop or transport dangerous materials.
26. Do not fly RPA if you are inebriated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
27. Do not attempt to fly RPA from a moving vehicle, ship, or plane.
28. Don’t handle the RPA in hand with propeller mounted & powered
